It ain't what you say, its the way that you say it - THAT'S what gets results
Are you old enough to remember Bananarama and their brilliant song that had the line “It ain’t what you say (or do), it’s the way that you say (or do) it, THAT’S what gets results”
Well it’s the same for us, especially when we work on the ‘phone – so what is your voice saying about you today?
The WAY you communicate is as vital and important as the WHAT you communicate – so be sure to follow Bananarama’s example today coz THAT’S what will get results!
Really think about your tone – which is the mood of your voice – and your inflection, or rise and fall so that you ensure you sound upbeat and interesting and interested in your voice.
Focus on your posture and your breathing – both key factors in the quality of your sound – to ensure that your vocal communication is clear and easy to listen to and easy to understand.
Voice projection is much easier and much better when you have the correct posture and breathing technique – and these 2 factors will positively impact every element of your vocality, from your tone and inflection, to your pace and pausing rate, volume and overall clarity.
So get heard – and understood today – by focusing on your vocal communication today
Until next time, take care and keep FIT!
